Oscar Acceptance Speeches
After years of watching the Academy Awards, one cannot help but scrutinize the different acceptance speeches of those who are lucky enough to win such a prestigious award. Some are too shocked for having been granted such acknowledgement that they are unable to give a really good speech. Others prepare a list of people to thank that they were not able to express what they are truly feeling at the moment.
Of course, there are those who can come up with a memorable speech with just a few words. I am talking about Russell Crowe’s speech when he won Best Actor for Gladiator.
